Introduction to Lyrical Press, Inc.
With much of the world dominated by technology, Frank and Renee Rocco’s goal with Lyrical Press, Inc. is to help usher in the age of digital books.

Lyrical Press, Inc. is a small press general publisher located in Staten Island, offering an eclectic catalog of titles ranging from tender romances to supernatural horror. Although all of their books are released digitally, select titles will also be available in print. With every purchase of an eBook through Lyrical Press, the reader receives four formats which to read their book. They also offer the download for the life of the customer’s account with their online store, Onceuponabookstore.com, a handy resource in the event of a computer crash.

The recent closings of romance-themed small press publishing houses have fractured the romance community. The collapse of these houses has caused a rift of distrust to form, pitting authors and readers against publishers. Frank and Renee want to do their part to help heal the community and re-establish a sense of trust between author/reader and publisher. Their fair and honest dealings has thus far earned the trust and respect of their authors and staff. The quality of the books they published since their launch in May of 2008 has already attracted a loyal readership.

Emma Wayne Porter, Lyrical Press, Inc.’s Editor-In-Chief, and Mrs. Rocco, are both previously published authors. Their experiences in the publishing industry, combined with Mr. Rocco’s managerial training, have made for a strong house with many promising new and seasoned authors. Their books are already earning rave reviews from such sites as An Alternative Read, Simply Romance Reviews and Paranormal Romance Reviews.

With seven editors and over thirty-five authors, Lyrical Press is a fast growing house actively seeking all genres of writing barring poetry and young adult novels. Submissions should be sent to Mrs. Porter at: submissions@lyricalpress.com.
